I still go here occasionally, the food is great as far as i'm concerned... but my love for this pizza was forged a while back, and it's the memories of those times that make it stand out. The pizza now is quite acceptable: not outstanding, but good enough to keep that old love alive in my mind (and stomach!)

Very Dissapointed

Long time user for family celebrations and used to be great.
Quality slowly going downhill and this is the final straw.
Ordered a pizza and antipasto plate 6 November 2009
Antipasto consisted of shredded lettuce, old cheese, pizza salami and dried crackers, they charge me $14.00 for this dish which was disgraceful.
We used to recommend this business but will for evermore describe it for what it is, a waste of money.
My wife and I love to eat local and support our local businesses but we will never return to this "restaurant".

hit or miss

yeah i agree it used to be better. nice people and service etc, but for what used to be a great pizza place, it's a shame and a bit annoying the quality of pizza's there now. the pizza base's are way too thin and soggy. i like thin pizza's, but sometimes it's as though there's no base at all and the excessive cheese is the only thing holding it together. but when they get it right, it's pretty damn good, in fact it's the best. unfortunately though, that's quite a rare event.

still nice place to eat

great restuarant, sameul the owners have changed around 8 months ago thats why you might find it different, i too used to tell everyone about this restaurant. i still go there though. . the meals in the kitchen are my favorite now. the pizzas are still the best around the area, but i really liked it when the son kept making my pizza. i never had to tell him my order he already knew. i would highly recommend locals around the area to try.

I'm a local to this restaurant, and I used to go there all the time, but in the last 8 months it has become pretty average. I used to proclaim to as many people as I could that it was the best pizza you'll ever get, but now the bases are really thin and floppy, they put too much cheese on to the point where I have to ask for not as much cheese every time - and still they don't! it's just a messy experience and a real disappointment for what was such a great pizza place.

great honest hearty generous Italian fare, everything served piping hot and freshly cooked, busy buzzing cafe with down to earth service an adequate wine list. the gnocchi is great - home made of course, veal scallopine very tender and generous portions, napolitana pizza very authentic, great for a family get together, something to please everyone, kids, vegetarians, macho meat eaters and litte old ladies alike. the Wolf Blass merlot a lovely drop per glass, good range of ales, great coffee and deserts. we go regularly.
