My wife and I live in Newcastle area and were looking for somewhere a little different to go for our anniversary and were advised by a friend of ours about this place in middle suburbia that had a resort feel. Had to see for ourselves so booked in. When we arrived we were very surprised as our expectations were bettered. Has own car park which in our area is amazing and as it was a raining night all the better, Open plan restaurant but at same time very cosy and intimate - wooden walls raked ceiling, abundants of windows so lots of natural light. Plus out back has own accomodation, hair dressing salon and gift shop. Were Greeted by nice happy staff that were informative and suggested we start with some nibblies. Everything we ordered was excellent food was very well presented and tasty, as later we were informed that all was cooked in the kitchen, ie. nothing bought in. All and all Very nice night made our anniversary very special and would highly recommend anyone this venue and i am sure, as it did with us this place is a gem. Thank you sorry for writing so much but its not very often your expectations get bettered
