Very good Thai food at very good prices. Geelong has many Thai Restaurants but few good ones. This is a good one. Not much to look at but you will forget that once you start eating.
Eatten here many times. Always good.

This place has recently changed name from "The Ying and I", and I'm not sure if it's changed hands as well. The interior has changed, but the menu has largely stayed the same. And with good reason! For the food is fantastic!

From Gang Panang to Tom Kha to Gang Kiew Waan - we deliberately starve ourselves before walking in and end up rolling back out the door a couple of hours later. In particular, the banquet is great value for money, and allows you to sample a good section of the menu in one hit.

My one criticism is that it's a small venue and gets pretty hor and stuffy inside, especially given the spicy nature of much of the food. Perhaps this has changhed with the new renovations - I certainly hope so. But, it's a small price to pay for what is otherwise a great meal at a good price.

THINK FOOD

As the days grow short, some faces grow long. But not mine. Every autumn, when the wind turns cold and darkness comes early, I am suddenly happy. It's time to start making soup again.
