Our first experience at Valentia was a bit disappointing- pizza was good but I ordered pumpkin,spinach, mushroom and pine nut risotto which was served minus the pine nuts. Coffee was very average but service was fine and owner was apologetic for the error with my meal. We went back on two more occasions and it was OK, not outstanding but quite acceptable.Tonight we decided to eat there again and it was quite busy. We waited a reasonable time for the entree (bruschetta) and an awfully long time for our mains. Patrons had started to finish their dinner and depart and we were still waiting. The waitress apologised by saying that they were very busy. Umm, well it was Saturday night and they are in the restaurant business. My husband ordered main size penne salmon and I decided to try the pumpkin risotto again. We were served an entree sized penne and my risotto was minus the mushrooms this time but it had the pine nuts- they were easy to see, they were burnt black! So,the penne went back and we had another wait for the main size. The risotto went back and the waitress commented that SHE would not have eaten it either. We were told that it would be deleted from the bill, as I would have expected. I am now home and hungry, as nothing else was offered in place of the risotto. When we left the owner and the two cooks were outside having a cigarette, so never again for us!

I have never experienced Home Delivery quite like it! The menu is an equisite mix of flavours and you certainly won't be disappointed once the food arrives. The menu left our mouths watering and we over ordered because of it but no regrets every dish was a new mix of flavours and superbly prepared that we were excited to have some left over for tomorrow!
The chef truly understands flavours and how to mix them together and I look forward to trying more of his creations.
If you've got suprise guests and no food in the fridge... use these guys to impress the mother in law from hell ... you'll come off looking like the Italian expert!
I can't rave about them enough. It may have been take away but it was some of the best Italian I've ever had.
