Check out this recent review of the Stokehouse...
"For first time visitors, Stokehouse’s internationally renowned chef Anthony Musarra has a few recommendations. If you’re in the downstairs restaurant, he suggests trying the Vegetable Crostata (served as a main), which consists of roasted pumpkin, zucchini, spiced yoghurt and onion jam. And if you’re heading to the upstairs restaurant, Anthony says you can’t go past the Grilled Quail Breast with brik pastry, barley couscous, mint, roasted pistachio and pomegranate dressing as an entree."

Another great restaurant on the water
Review by TawNeet (18), left on 16-11-2006 at 18:21
I seem to like all the restaurants that have views out over the water, and Stokehouse is another one, although the delicious food helps too! Meals here are always special and it's the kind of place you can spend the whole evening going through three courses and then hanging around over coffee if you want to, everything's superb and the beachy atmosphere is friendly enough to make you comfortable. Meals are $28 - $40 so a bit expensive but not too bad if it's a special night out. The wine list is excellent. The pasta and seafood are excellent. Basically everything about this place is excellent!
