"Café by day, restaurant by night, the magnificent ambience of Growlers is best served with a glass of fine wine and a serious commitment to chilling out. Whether you’re seeking breakfast in the courtyard, lunch on the deck, or dinner in the restaurant by the fire, you’re sure to love the laid-back friendly atmosphere of Growlers."

Grouchers!

I had dinner here last night with 3 friends. Overall, the food was good but we were less than impressed with the unfriendly staff and extremely poor service. Our waitress was a total sourpuss - food and drinks were slapped down on the table and no one asked us if we were ok for drinks throughout dinner (we had one drinks order taken for the whole evening - and even then it took them 10 mins to tell us the wine we had ordered was not available). After dinner, we had to ask to see a dessert menu only to be informed there wasn't one. By this stage, we were over the place - it was also a warm evening and there was no air-con - so we paid up and left them to it. Will not be going back to Grouchers in a hurry.
