I have visited this pub today to find it is quite expensive.Going with my dad we had three beers between both of us a bacon and cheese burger and I had a Moroccan chicken salad, don't get me wrong guys for what it is worth its a nice pub to visit not ideally the place to visit considering that the place is overpriced beyond belief.

Average looking building from the outside, but don't let this fool you, the interior has a good feel to it as you walk in the door. Our reservation was spot on arrival.
The waiting staff greeted us with a smile and were friendly and at tentative all night. They even changed table location for us without any hassles as the air conditioning was working too well.
The ambience of the restaurant picks up when the place is full and has a nice buzz to it.
The food is average compared to other restaurants in the Geelong area but pricing is slightly cheaper. All diners at our table including overseas guests approved of the portion sizes and taste of the meals.
The wine list is overpriced and we were not able to have our first choice of bottled wine so we found this a bit of a let down. This was the only disappointing aspect of our dining experience on the night
Our intention was to show our overseas guest a dining experience typical of a moderately priced restaurant in Geelong and they all enjoyed the experience.
The local people all agreed that we would be back in the future to dine at the Ha'penny Bridge again, and soon!
Don't Bother Booking!

Don't Bother Booking- because they'll lose it!
Lovely looking restaurant, shame about everything else. The steak was cold and not as well done as requested, on the same plate the vegies were warm, but under cooked.
The garlic bread/pizza had a whole garlic clove stuck on top under the cheese that was nearly eaten by my husband.
My favourite things in the world are tomato, cheese, bread and balsamic vinegar- so how the bruschetta that had all of them on it managed to taste unappealing was a major skill on their behalf.
Our whole meal was watched by a chef from the kitchen (when he wasn't chatting to the waitresses or texting on his phone) while our waitress hovered over us all night, and then seemed to push us out the door when we were finished.
Overall the meal was uninspiring and expensive. Also, if you have a vegetarian in your party don't go- they'll be 2 starters and no mains for them to choose from!
