Help!

Here's a list of frequently asked questions that you might find useful. If you need to know something that's not listed here, try asking on the forums or contact Meet Me There directly.

How do I add a review?

First you need to search for a restaurant you like by using the search box in the left bar or our advanced search page. Once you've clicked through to the main information page for that restaurant there will be a review box at the bottom where you can leave your review. This box will only appear if you are logged in.

How do I log in?

If you have already registered, enter your username and password in the boxes in the left menu. If you do not yet have a username and password click the Register now link under the login boxes and create a new login. You must have cookies enabled in your browser for the login system to work.

What if I can't find a restaurant?

Try searching for just one word from the title or address. If the restaurant isn't in our list you can suggest it to be added if you're logged in. We review the suggestions list regularly and check each suggestion before adding it to the database.

What if I notice a mistake in a name or address?

We'd really appreciate if you'd tell us! Use the Update icon underneath the restaurant listing to notify us with whatever queries or updates you have. We'll look into it and fix any mistakes or problems as soon as we can.

What if I notice a double listing?

Unfortunately double listings creep into the database from time to time. If you notice one, tell us using the Update icon for one of the two restaurants and we'll fix the problem as soon as we can.

What's to stop a restaurateur leaving a bad review for their competition?

We discourage leaving negative reviews at all, and we would also hope that the community is large enough that if a single bad review was unjustified it would be overwhelmed by other people saying they liked the place. Meet Me There also reserves the right to edit or remove any review or forum post at any time if we deem it offensive or at a risk of being deemed libellous.
