We're going to Mulwala for a week at the end of November - anyone got a suggestion for somewhere to try up there? I'll report back afterwards anyway
Mulwala's right on the river, but I'm sure there'll be some nice places we can review on this side of the border - nearby Rutherglen has a reputation as a good wine region and wine and food seem to go well together... |

| I don't know about restaurants but I remember a very nice little winery that you've got to visit if you go to Rutherglen, it's called Pfeiffer's and we've still got a Gamay from there that we bought about 4 years ago, waiting for a special occasion. Great little family winery, almost everything we tried was special and it's not too expensive from the cellar door either. |

Thanks TawNeet, we did visit Pfeiffers, we'd been there as well once before, it is a very pretty little winery and very friendly people.
Turns out that there's not really much in Mulwala, it's really just a sister town to the larger Yarrawonga. We found a few little gems there, so I'll write reviews this week and post the links. |
