Golden Plate Awards 2007 - Winners

The Telstra Country Wide Golden Plate Awards for 2007 were announced last night, with the Overall Best Restaurant category being jointly awarded to two fine local establishments:

Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant in Wallington and

Athelstane House in Queenscliff.

Last year's winner, Pettavel Winery & Restaurant in Waurn Ponds, was this year introduced into the Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to all who took part, it's especially great to see the Bellarine Peninsula being recognised for the great leaps being made by restaurants in that area.
